Lagun’Air devices are designed to effectively treat water of different kinds, offering a versatile solution for sectors such as waste management and water purification.
This innovative process is based on the unique properties of the products in the Lagun’Air VIII range, which are distributed on the surface of the water.
The tiny drops of product, once on the surface, transform into hydrophobic mixtures and spread rapidly over the entire surface of the lagoon due to the mixture’s low specific surface tension.
This dispersion process is known as micellar dispersion.
This creates a large exchange surface between the inhibitors contained in the mixtures and the malodorous gaseous phase released by the water.
The active ingredients evaporate slowly and come into contact with the malodorous molecules as soon as they appear on the water surface, reducing unpleasant odours almost immediately.
Odour reduction is achieved through a physico-chemical reaction between the two gaseous phases and olfactory compensation of the gaseous residue after the reaction.
The low vapor pressure of the active agents considerably reduces their volatility, making them extremely persistent and effective over a long period.
